Meet the Head

It is my great pleasure to warmly welcome you to Kew Green Preparatory School and Nursery. We are a co-educational London Preparatory School and Nursery for children aged 2 – 11 years old. Our countryside setting, facilities and small class sizes are unique for a London school. The impact of this can be felt and seen in our joyful children who are proud to be a Kew Green pupil.

Your child is at the heart of everything we do at Kew Green Prep. We value and champion each child as an individual, supporting, challenging and celebrating their academic achievement alongside their personal development. Our pupils are happy, engaged, and challenged throughout their journey with us. Our small class sizes allow our inspirational staff to truly know and understand every one of our pupils, going above and beyond to ensure they receive an extraordinary education, ready to succeed in their next step and endeavours. Our pupils pro-actively embrace all areas of school life and learning with a motivated, resilient, and adaptable mindset, an articulate voice, with compassion in their hearts, finding joy in all they do.

Academic rigour and high expectations for all our pupils drives our curriculum, with excellent teaching set against our culture of ambition and a focus on our 11+ preparation programme for all pupils. However, the academic side of school life is equally matched with the importance we place on the co-curricular and extra-curricular areas of school life as we believe in providing a truly well-rounded education at Kew Green. We encourage all pupils to indulge in new passions, interests and experiences while with us, for them to seek out their strengths as well as overcoming challenges – growing at every step.

 Above all, my staff and I are dedicated to making Kew Green a vibrant school, full of creativity, fun and positive relationships; with active, curious and engaged learners who have an articulate voice, and set within a strong whole-school community of pupils, staff and parents.
